I thought a little while about what to write for Earth Day. For a second I even wrote… “Please Recycle.” Then I reallized, why would anyone ever read a blog that says please recycle. Its like saying brush your teeth at this point. So for the purposes of creating some real value you here I thought I’d direct you to an amazing website. I met a guy in Austin, Tx by the name of Aron Kressner. He is involved in running a with a website called http://www.lazyenvironmentalist.com . Its an interesting website where you find real world ways to go green without trying very hard. They’ve got a book and a TV show on the way. I loved the idea so I thought I’d share. Hopefully you can find a few ways to green up your life for Earth Day today.

Lion of Ido – “Everything Changes”
I take chances for the thrill. Or be slaves in narrows building pyramids for 400 years.
I thought it would be an appropriate time to explain theses lyrics. Believe it or not, they have a lot to do with Passover.
The story of Passover is that the Jewish people escaped from 400 years of slavery in Egypt. They roamed the desert for 40yrs and finally made there way back to the land of Israel.
“mitzrayim”: The Hebrew word for “Egypt” is derived from the Hebrew word tzar (narrows, straits), meaning “from the narrows” or “tight confinement”.
They idea of Passover is to celebrate our release from bondage…or narrows.
In modern times one can be externally free and nevertheless enslaved to an evil within oneself — power, envy, intolerance, hatred, cruelty, selfishness, despair, and apathy. Releasing the chains you put on yourself and freeing the human spirit is at the core of growing and changing as a person.

Happy Passover… if your celebrating prepare to not poop for 8 days. Matzah is a killer! Shows this week have been awesome. Meeting alot of great people and bands this week. Can’t wait for the shows at the end of the week. I lost my phone and i’m depressed about it.
I tried Hot Yoga for the first time 2 days ago… They should call it Hell Yoga. They put the room up to 115 Degrees and then make you do yoga for 90 minutes. It was gross. What an awful feeling! I’m going back next week:) The band and I have been hard at work finishing the new album… putting together the finishing touches. I know I keep saying its almost done… but really. We are getting close! Such a strange place to be… finishing another album. I felt like I just made the first record at my parents house in my bed room. Here we go again:) Next record in Jerusalem. Then Barcelona.
Ps. We are on the hunt for a guitar player and a keyboard player. If you know anyone e-mail me!
