Lion of Ido

I realized that not everyone in the world has a myspace.  As a mater of fact, some people are scared of it.  As a result I decided to create a blog.  Isn’t it cool?  So here we are.  I think this is a good place for us to interact.  As I get the feel for how to use this thing I’ll start posting lots of cool stuff… things I like… thoughts I have, ramblings… but all things from my head and heart.  Maybe we’ll have Crista and Steve do some blogging too.  News, Tour dates and all that are important… but it doesn’t let us connect… which is the whole point of this thing anyway. 

So whats been up so far?

Welllllllll… I guess I can start with things you know and things you may not.  I was born in Israel.  Moved to long island… grew up.  Went to college… quit college.  Toured the world… then went back to college and graduated with a 3.8 and a business degree.  My mom was siked!  They didn’t want to give me the other .2 points cause they thought it wouldn’t be fair to the other kids.  Instead of getting a regular job and moving to Murry Hell(Funny article)I started this band.  I put a lot of effort into creating music that I would like to hear.  Also, most of it helped me just get things of my chest.   Some of it is angry, some of it is loving, introspective…but it all came out of my life.  I put that record together and did the whole youtube world tour thing.  The week I got back and was planning on releasing my album I got a bunch of money from a record label to record some new music.  Soooo instead of going on tour I spent 2 or 3 months recording another record.  Basically they decided that since my music was “unique and amazing… it may be hard to sell and find a market for.”  With that I realized that the record industry is fucked!  I also found a new overwhelming feeling of positivity.  I kind of feel like anything is possible if I put my mind to it.  I have no doubt that the ride is about to begin and I am glad that if your reading this your apart of it.  The new music is on the way.  I figure we’ll record a few more songs and get it out to you… even though the album out now has been out for like 6 months.  The band and I have started touring.  Crista and Steve really rock it.  They bring a lot to the table as far as their style of playing and musicianship…they are also both extremely sexy:)    We started recording some new stuff together… so you will hear their beautiful voices soon.  We recorded a live album and dvd… though there were some technical cliches, I still planning on getting you guys some of that.  That brings us here.  I think its important to really get to know everyone and have you get to know me and the band.  So here I am.  Please check back… I’ll be posting pictures and videos and mp3s and stuff…. for real.  Lets just do this thing…. if you feel like you could help or want to get invovled please let me know.  Much love and respect.
